Religious & Theological Abstracts provides objective summaries of articles appearing in scholarly journals in the fields of Religion and Theology. They list a wide variety of periodical literature, including Christian, Jewish, and other World religions. They provide English language abstracts of articles in English, Hebrew, Afrikaans, and major European languages.

The Association of Religion Data Archives (formerly American Religion Data Archive) The ARDA allows you to interactively explore the highest quality data on American and international religion using online features for generating national profiles, maps, church membership overviews, denominational heritage trees, tables, charts, and other summary reports. Over 350 data files are available for online preview and most can be downloaded for additional research.

ATLA Cooperative Digital Resources Initiative provides a freely available, web-searchable, central repository of digital resources contributed by participating libraries. CDRI enables member libraries both to create digital resources and to benefit from the digital projects of other libraries.

ATLA RIM Online a freely available database that indexes D.Min. projects from reporting schools of theology accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. Indexing began in 1981. Author, title, project advisor, institution, and subject access are provided. In addition, an abstract for each project is included when one has been provided by the author.

Foreign Doctoral Dissertations: Center for Research Libraries (CRL)

Biographisch-Bibliographisches Kirchenlexikon (BBKL)the Web version of a major biographical encyclopedia with excellent bibliographies.  Remains in almost constant production.

ZID (Zeitschrifteninhaltsdienst) Theologie:  tables of contents to recent journal issues and essay collections from around the world, with article-level subject headings in both German and English.  Browse alphabetically by title, or search using the "Find" feature on your browser.  Covers roughly the period between publication and appearance in the ATLA Religion Database (not to mention many titles never indexed therein), as follows:  records added on the 10th of the current month (Aktuelle Ausgabe), the previous month (Vormonat), and the month before that (Drittletzter Monat); and records added at about 8:20 p.m. on the previous day (Vortag), the day before that (Vorletzter Tag), and the day before that (Drittletzter Tag).  Records more than three months old disappear into the database Index theologicus, above.
